WEED & VEGETATION MANAGEMENT

One of the best ways to eradicate noxious weeds from an area is via mulching, as this action doesn’t take out the roots, and all the leaves the land are able to regenerate into a healthy pasture.

Our machines will leave your paddocks cleared and mulched from a variety of noxious weeds, from Blackberries, Gorse to Dog Wood and any other unwanted species.

Blackberries are very invasive weeds and can get out of control very quickly. Using an integrated approach will give you the best results for blackberry control and eradication - for instance, combining physical control measures with chemical control measures. Mulch the blackberry first, wait for at least 1 metre of regrowth before applying a blackberry control chemical such as a registered herbicide or alternatively you can use an organic pine oil, these need to be applied several times during the growing season.

The best time to chemical control for blackberries is during the active growing season, October through to April.
